[Flame]

Rosa ran happily throught the forest, sometimes running in circles or hitting a tree. Every time she hit a tree, she would smack it with her paw, which was quite red by now. She saw a small, half-dead rose by the side of the path. She thought, "Roses! I love roses!" and sat down to admire it.

[Reiyn]

Tsu, watching from the shadows, narrowed her eyes. Was this varg one of the Kin Taiyou wolves? She certaintly looked the part. Yes, she must be. Grey with white markings... those were the colors of the Kin Taiyou. Tsu, having made up her mind, leapt out infront of the fae, fangs bared.

[Flame]

Rosa saw Tsu jump out at her and panicked. She had no clue why this femme was attacking her. "ELP!!!!!" she cried, jumping back. She stared, wide-eyed at tsu and started to shake with fear. "What was that for???" she demeanded.

[Reiyn]

Tsu said nothing, her over-sized wings streched out to their largest. She continued to glare and snarl at the fae. "You. You look like those of the Kin Taiyou pack. Are you? Speak!"

[Flame]

"The what-whata pack??" Rose stared at Tsu. "I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I've never been part of a pack"

[Reiyn]

Tsu, distrustful of the femme, continued to snarl. "You are to come with me. We shall see what the Alphess thinks of this!" Tsu spat out. The winged cat leapt into the air, hovering so that she was higher then the femme. "This way, varg."

[Flame]

Rosa warily followed the cat. She was afraid of a flyer. What had she done?

[Reiyn]

Tsu, after flying swiftly for a few moments, darted downwards and landed infront of the Alpha Caverns. She howled, suprisingly well for a cat, to announce her presence before striding into the cavern. She stopped infront of Rein and bowed her head respectfully.

Rein, lying on her usual cliff within the cavern, watched Tsu and the strange fae enter. She nodded to Tsu.

"This femme... does she not have the coloring of the Kin Taiyou pack?" Tsu asked.

"Yes. That she does. Tsu, may I speak with her alone for a minute?" Rein replied thoughtfully.

Tsu nodded and walked out of the Alpha Caverns. She headed into the Beta Caverns and lay down.

Back in the Alpha Caverns, Rein leapt down from her perch and circled the femme once. Keeping her head higher then the fae's, she stared into the other's eyes. "Who are you? Why are you tresspassing on my lands? Who sent you?"

[Flame]

"I am Rosa. I have wandered all my life. I did not realize this was a pack's territory. Nobody sent me here." Rosa said. Rein's eyes kept Rosa staring back, like magnets. Rosa wondered why everyone seemed to think that she was from another pack.

[Reiyn]

Rein narrowed her eyes. "You... I have seen you before. Once before... right before we were taken." Rein said. Her eyes opened wide, remembering. "You ARE of the Kin Taiyou pack! YOU were sent to SPY on us! YOU were the one who caused the attack... right before our capture! It is because of YOU that my mother was killed!" Rein cried, her voice rising, her eyes burning in fury.

[Flame]

Rosa was glued in her place by fear. This Femme was terrifying. The name "Kin Taiyou" brought back a small flicker of memory, though. She said, her voice shaking with fear, "My....mother... Kin Taiyou... my mother..from there...I've never....been part of a pack....... Mother.... I don't know." Rosa hung her head. She could hardly remember anything. She felt responsible for this Rein's anger. It was like she had done something horrible, but not known what.

[Reiyn]

Rein sighed. This femme was obviously of the Kin Taiyou pack, yet she remembered naught. Rein made up her mind. "Rosa... is that your name? You may stay on the Blood Rose lands. If you wish to, that is. I am Rein, alphess of these lands. The femme who led you here is called Tsu. Don't mind her persona... she's really very nice... once you get to know her." Rein smiled. "Would you like to join the Blood Rose pack, Rosa?"

[Flame]

"Um... sure. I don't really know how to behave in a pack, but I will respect all other memebers of the pack. I.. thank you. For your kindness." Rosa said, dumbfounded. A moment before, Rein had been threatening her, and now she was offering Rosa a place in the pack! Was this a trick of some sort? Was Rosa being tested? Ands this Tsu.. why was a cat a member of the pack? And how could she really have been so kind, showing the agressiveness she had demonstrated to Rosa. It was all too confusing. Rosa started shaking, and a ring of blue-hot flames circled around her, protecting her. Rosa relaxed and extinguished the flames. Through all this, she had forgotten her control over fire. That would help her greatly. If ther was any need to fight, then she did have an advantage.

[Reiyn]

Rein smiled lightly. Her eyes danced as she saw the flames. "Ah... a spellcaster, are you? You will be quite welcome in this pack... quite welcome... It does not matter if you do not know how to act within a pack. Just... try not to aggrivate anyone... especially Tsu. She can be... touchy. She's nice though. I'm sorry if she scared you at first... she just doesn't like suprises. Especially from the Kin Taiyou. I guess you're wonder why a cat is in the pack right?" Rein said.

[Flame]

"....Um..well yes, I was wondering why there was a cat in the pack. I mean, I don't mean to offend anyone but....." Rosa didn't know what to say. After a moment, however, she realized thet many newcomers might wonder the same thing.
