Rein smiled. "Tsu is the Blood Rose pack's betta fae because she is my sister. Not by blood, but close enough. She is my best friend and escaped with me from the laboratory. She, all though in the form of a winged cat, is as much a wolf as you or I." Rein said. "Is there anything else you with to know?" Rein asked, still smiling.

"Well, um, yes. What importance does a spellcaster have in the pack? I didn't realize it would c be something terribly important..." Rosa faltered, thinking she sounded dumb.

Rein tilted her head thoughtfully. "Hmm... Well, those with the ranks of Warrior, Hunter, Spellcaster, and Kappa are basically equal. They are below the leads of their groups, the elders, the gammas, the betas, and the alphas, but higher then the pack's pups (those who do not belong to an alpha, a beta, a gamma, or a lead), the psychos, the siklas, and the omegas." Rein turned her gaze to Rosa. "Is this the rank you wish, Rosa? Spellcaster?"

Rein nodded. "If you wish to become a Spellcaster, I will have to test you first." Upon hearing the fae's question, she smiled. "Yes, Rosa. Psychos. Those who are designated insane or psychotic by either themselves or other members in the pack. I am the only one who may place a varg under this ranking, though." Rein turned to Rosa. "When would you like to begin your test?"

"Yes, I would." Rosa was nervous. The only element she could not defeat was water. If that was Rein's element, she might fail the test.

Rein nodded. "Okay then. These are the things that you shall be tested on: (1) Defensive spells, (2) Offensive spells, and (3) Combative spells. If you have healing spells, please tell me when you have completed the test. I will request two spells of each kind listed before. Are you still sure that you want to be tested now?"

"Yes... I would. It sounds simple enough." Rosa said. Two spells of each three kinds.. that would be... six spells. she could handle that.

Rein nodded. "Okay then. Let the test begin!" Rein said. "First, the defensive spells. I will attack you, using only magic. To pass, you must perform two defensive or protective spells. Neither of the two spells can throw your opponent's attack back at them. Both must completely destroy your opponent's attack, though. Ready yourself." Rein stood, lifting her head high, and closed her eyes. Instantly, ten spirits, all identical to Rein, flew out. They surrounded Rosa, ready to attack. "This shall be harder for you, Rosa." the original Rein said. "They cannot be dissarmed by any ordinary attack." With that, Rein's spirit-clones, all using the same attack, sent powerful waves of energy at Rosa. These waves would, if the target was not surrounded, blow them backwards, but seeing as Rosa was surrounded...

Rosa panicked for a second when she saw the energy waves flying toward her, but regained her confidence when she saw they were simplay energy waves. She put several large, thick bands of fire-like energy around her. When each wave hit the fire, the fire ring dissapeared, but the waves grew a little weaker and moved slower. By the time the waves reacked Rosa, they were hardly enough to bed over a peice of tall grass.

((I changed the spelling of Rein's name. Henceforth, it shall be spelled Reiyn.))
Reiyn smiled and nodded her approval. "Nice work. Now for your second defensive..." At that, Reiyn's clones dissapeared. Replacing them was a circle of water. As Reiyn lifted her paw upwards, the waters rose too. Higher and higher they went, until they were touching the cavern ceiling. Slowly but surely the circle started to grow smaller. "You must find your way out, Rosa. Good luck to you."

This time, Rosa did panic. She did not know how to handle water. Everybody knows that water extinguished fire..... She got an idea. She put up a white-hot fire around her, and it started to grow larger. When the wall of water got close to it, the heat of the fire turned the water into steam. Once all of the water was gone, Rosa extinguished the fire.She turned to Reiyn and smiled.

Reiyn nodded again. "Well done. You have passed the defensive part of your test. Ready yourself. We shall begin the offensive testing now. Again I will require two spells of you. You shall be attacking me, and I will have to defend myself from the spells. Be warned, Rosa. Just because you sent the spell at me doesn't mean that it is over. I can still defend myself. Are you ready? Begin when you are."
