The thunder stormed, and a small timber wolf puppy raced through the forest. He could not stop running.
The young puppy raced on, hardly noticing the rain that pelted around at all sides of him. The only thought racing through his head was to get away.... get away...... get away.......
Visions flitted in front of his eyes, as they have been for the past two weeks. He did not see what was ahead or behind him. He had to get away.....
The puppy seemed to suddenly become aware of the rain. He could rest for a few minutes, until the rain stopped, and then he would go on. He could not stay in one place for long. Nobody saw him, noticed him as he continued his purposeful journey.
The puppy saw a large cave ahead of him ((alright, maybe it wasn't that large, but everything looks huge to a 10-week-old puppy)) and thought it might be a good place to sit out the storm. He loped over to the entrance and stopped. what if another wolf lives in this cave? The puppy seemed indesicive for a moment, and then wen into the cave and lay down by the entrance. this way, he may nopt disturb whoever lived in the cave.

A femme flew into the den, her large, black, bat-like wings outstreched. She emitted a snarling sound as she shook water off of her pelt. Blood dripped from her maw, not her own, but another creature's.

The pup startled as the femme flew in. He had never seen a wolf with wings. Then he noticed the blood on the wolf's maw. He lept up, staring wide-eyed at the creature, trembling like a leaf caught in a hurricane. He saw his mother....sisters...brothers... all being killed before his eyes once again. He could not take it. The pup collapsed and continued trembling, his eyes frantic.

The femme turned and sighted the pup. At once, she started to change. The wings that sprouted from her back started to dissapear. The blood that dripped so menacingly from her maw evaporated and her eyes lost their dark, angered gleam. Her voice changed too, becoming lighter and reminding most of a breeze on a summer day. "Hi there. Are you lost, child? Where are your parents?" Kimika asked, her pale blue eyes full of worry.

The puppy stared. He had never seen a wolf change before.. could it be a trick? Could this wolf be hiding her true self to falsely earn his trust?? He simply looked at the Femme, not answering either question, but his eyes showed more wonder than fear now.

Kimika sighed. "It's okay. You don't have to talk to me if you don't want to. Either way, I'm not going to leave you here by yourself. It's too dangerous." She looked at him a moment. "You're young... too young to be traveling along. Hnn... Reiyn needs to know about this..." With that said, Kimika tilted her head back and let out a soft howl. Moments later, she sat down again and smiled at the pup. "Don't be frightened. I'm going to help you find your family, okay?"

The puppy still stared at Kimika. Then, in a voice so soft it could just barely be heard he asked, "Who are you?"

Kimika had turned away, but at the sound of the pup's voice her auds perked. She turned again and smiled. "I'm Kimika. What's your name?"
In her cavern, deep within the packlands, Reiyn heard Kimika's howl. She sent a replying howl, telling Kimika that she and Tsu were on their way.
Kimika nodded slightly. "Reiyn and Tsu are coming."

"Reiyn and Tsu. The pack's Alphess and Beta Fae, respectively in that order. They are normally here when a sikla is spotted heading towards the Admittance Cavern, but I guess they didn't notice you. Probably 'cause of the rain." Kimika said, smiling.

Kimika smiled again. "I told you already, silly. I'm Kimika."
Reiyn and Tsu, soaked from the rain, arrived at the entrance of the cavern. Tsu muttered a spell and their pelts dried instantly. Then, together, they entered the cavern.
Kimika turned and bowed as she saw Reiyn and Tsu enter. "Hi. This is the pup I told you about. His name is Cain." she said, gesturing to him.

Cain stared at the femme and the cat. He blinked. He had not been with so many wolves since his siblings and mother were killed.....

Kimika smiled reasurringly to Cain then mouthed the words "really afraid" over his head to Reiyn and Tsu.
Reiyn nodded. "Hi there. You're Cain, right? I'm Reiyn, and this is Tsu." she said, gesturing first to herself, then to Tsu.

Cain looked at Reyn and Tsu, and then walked over to Kimika. He liked this wolf. There was something about her that seemed calm and reassuring....
