((Sorry for not posting sooner. ^^; ))
A steak of brown was seen in the forest, well, more like a streak of brown with bright red and black markings. But you get the point. Now, this smudge of color had a name, Arliss. She was running rather aimlessly, until she ran into a tree. Literally. She slumped to the ground, holding her head in her paws. "Oww... Dang that hurt," She muttered to herself, and slowly walked away from the tree, muttering obscenities at it.

((It's okay. This is the only time when people haven't been berating me with "Reply to the rp!"s))
Rein and Tsu sat in the Admittance Cavern, having sensed the presense of another on the terrain. Rein let out a howl, letting the femme know where they were and telling her to join them.
"Is she coming?" Tsu asked.
"I don't know, Tsu. Just wait and see." Rein replied, her orbs never leaving the cave entrance as they waited for the femme to arrive.

Apon hearing the howl, Arliss turned towards the direction it came in. She started leaping towards it, but decided on a more dignified walk as she got closer. She entered the cavern and looked around before seeing a shadowy form emerge as her eyes grew used to the gloom. Stopping before the fae, quite obviously the alpha, Arliss also noticed a cat. 'Cat? What's a cat doing here?' Arliss wondered as she bowed her head in respect. "Hey there. You're the alpha, right?" Well, so much for being formal.

Rein nodded. "Yes, I am alphess of these lands. My name is Rein," she said before indicating to Tsu. "This is Tsubasa, or Tsu if you prefer. She is the Beta Femme of these lands. Who are you?"

"Oh, okay. My name's Arliss. Nice to meet you," she said, noding in their direction. "So are you looking for any new members? I mean, I don't really have a pack, and I don't really have any special skills, but I'd be willing to-" Arliss cut herself off, realizing she was babbling.

Rein smiled. She liked this fae's attitude, not overly confident, but not uptight. She looked at Tsu, and Tsu nodded her head. "Yes, we are accepting members. If you want to join, you may." Rein said, still smiling.

Arliss smiled, and wagged her bushy tail a little. She was going to have a pack! "I'd love to join!" She said exuberantly.

Rein smiled back and Tsu walked forward and circled Arliss. After a moment, she walked back to sit at Rein's side and said, "I sense no evil about her. She will be a good addition to our pack."
((HAH! You used the word of the day... well, one of the words of the days...))

Arliss's eyes followed Tsu as he walked around her, and was soon dizzy. "Pretty colors..." She mumbled softly, shaking her head to clear it a little. "So you mean I can join? I'll have a real pack?" Arliss asked happily.

Rein looked to Tsu, and Tsu nodded. "Yes," Rein said. "You are now part of the Blood Rose pack. The entrance to every cave on the terrain is covered with blood red roses. Do not fear their thorns; if you are loyal to the pack, they will not harm you."

"Thorns?" Arliss asked, her eyes going wide. She liked pointy objects, unless they might harm her, of course.

Tsu cracked a smile, and before Rein could speak, said, "Yeah, thorns. They're fun... if they don't hurt you." Rein sighed and added, "but, if you are not loyal to the pack, you will be infected by the thorn's poison. It's quite painful... or so I've heard."

Arliss's eyes widened even more and she nervously sallowed. "Poison?" She asked, unsure of wether she should run back to tough it out. Thorns were definitly not her favorite thing right now.

Rein smiled wryly. "Do not worry. You are of the Blood Rose pack. Tsu has sensed no evil about you, and she is the only one who can judge better then the thorns. They will not harm you so long as you are loyal to the pack."

Arliss managed to calm down a little. "aky, if you're shure they won't hurt me," she said, still not liking the thorn idea very much. "So where are these thorns, exactly?"
