Sitting on a bare branch a lone wolf looked upon everything he could see. Though the ground was covered in white, and no one seemed to be around, the wolf was as alert as ever. His ears flicked back and forth listening to the few birds that had staied over the winter and wondering if there where any others out and about this chilly morning. The wind did nothing to him, however, not even stirring the fur on his brown pelt. It did look like some green had surived, wrapping itself around his pelt in odd little swirls. One would wonder how long he had been sitting there in order for the plants to grow on him. But as you neared you could see that it was only his pelt that made the illusion.
He sighed and laid his head on the branch, his right fore-leg hanging off in apperent boredom, but this wasn't the reason he laid there. He liked feeling the sleeping strengh of the tree, reminding him that even when things appear dead, that there is much strength to them. Raising carefully from the branch he looked down at the ground and jumped and kept moving forward. It had been too long since he had been traveling and he knew that he shouldn't have wasted all that time.
"TIme I waste, Is time I gain," he said to himself as he padded on through the thin layer of snow that had fallen. There wasn't too much trouble here, and his vist with the tree showed that there where barely anywolves roming this area. He could scent a pack not too far away, but that wasn't what he had come for, no he had come to keep his travels alive and well.
He paused for a moment to sniff the air and ground, moving some snow with his paw before trotting onwards. He still thought it strange that not a lot of wolves romed this area but that was not uncommon, as one place lacked food, siklas often traveled to another to find where food would be more plentiful. He shook his pelt and kept walking, it would do him no good to stay around here for long.

Kimika, it being her day to patrol the Sikla Fields, padded along the snowcovered path. A small pup ran a few steps behind her, trying to keep quiet and go unnoticed. Kimika stopped in her tracks and sighed. "Akina, I know you're following me. Hiding won't do any good." The whelp sighed and walked to Kimika's side. "Mika, how'd you know?" Kimika smiled mysteriously and continued to walk. Akina stared after her. "If you're going to come, may as well not lag behind!" Kimika called back to the whelp. Akina pointed to a single set of tracks in the snow. "Kimika... aren't you the only one patrolling here today?" she asked. Kimika, suprised, turned around and nodded. "Then... whose tracks are these?" Akina asked again.

Ears twiching the brute walked on only pausing enough to scent and see if he could find anything then moving on. He wasn't going to go into the packs terra, not now at least. He had to find something for this bleakness was confusing him. Unless the wolf pack near here where evil there should be no way that this place should be so diserted... or could it be that the pak was just so accepting that few siklas wondered these parts.
He shook himself, the wind teasing his ears with it's hollow sound. Sniffing again he stopped and turned looking back at his own tracks, a clear marker that he was there. Aw well it mattered not to him. Seeing a tree in the distance he sped up wanting to get o the tree and lay, once more on something that had life still flowing from it. Besides that his pads where starting to get cold and while he hated to rest so much, he also hated cold pads. Getting to the tree he jumped up to the lowest brach and made his way higher till he couldn't go any further. Laying down and letting his left foreleg dangle down he watched, and listened to everything he could. It almost seemed that he was a part of the tree, unless the green of his coat was spied.

Kimika motioned for Akina to stay close as they followed the tracks. Not long after, Akina nudged Kimika and said, "Mika... since when are trees partially green in the winter?" Kimika turned to look at the whelp, confused. "There... near the top of that tree..." Akina said, pointing. Kimika looked towards the aforesaid tree, noting the prescence of green. "I'm going to go check it out... you stay here." Kimika said, padding off.
Soon after, the f'mmora had reached the base of the tree. She gazed upwards, calling out, "Is anyone up there?" Kimika could swear that she had seen the shape of a varg there, but with a pelt of green? Nonetheless, she waited there, hoping for a response.

"To call out to one unknown, then yes it will reply."
He looked down at the she-wolf that had called up into the tree but made no move to go down to her, he could scene nothing wrong with her and no scars of the past that he could see so there was no need for him to rush down. And though he knew that she wouldn't hurt him, he discided to stay where he was.
He did look her over though and knew that she was not a sikla from her scent and the way she carried herself. He knew also that she was uncertion, but there was nothing he could do about that.

Kimika frowned slightly. "Who are you?" she called, this time hoping for a more direct answer. "Can you come down?"
Akina, forgetting what Kimika had told her, walked over. "Mika?" she asked. "Was I right, is it a varg?"
Kimika looked down at the pup. "Akina, didn't I tell you to wait back there?" She sighed and said, "Well, seeing as you're here now, I think you were right." She looked back up at the varg, still slightly nervous.

"My name is not for those who have not sinned, for Redemption I am, and truth to the heart I will seek. I may leave my sitting spot, but things long dead talk still, listen and you will hear."
Redemption watched as Akina came over, not saying anything until the whelp asked if he was a varg. He smiled at that,
"That is what I think, but not quite sure for no Varg can do things where spirits dwell."
He still made no move to join them on the ground but shifted slightly so that they might be able to spy him better.

Kimika sensed an aura about the varg, Redemption, as he said his name was, that was odd, to say the least. He seemed different from others of the same species as they, but what was so odd she could not pin down. "Well... I'm Kimika, and this is Akina." she said, motioning to first herself and then to the whelp.
Akina stares up at Redemption, blood colored eyes narrowing slightly. "Are you alive?" she asked, voice barely audible. "You seem different then vargs that are alive."
Kimika turned to stare at the whelp. "Akina, are you feeling okay?" she asked, now completely confused.
Akina said nothing, only continued to stare at Redemption.

Redemption listened to the whelp and looked at her curiously, moving down the branches swiftly but careful and stopped when he was on a branch above the small whelp. He stared at her but did not make a sound, something stirred in him, though he didn't know what it was. He really had no anwser to the whelp's question so he didn't talk. He didn't know himself what he was so he couldn't really anwser her in any way. Sighing he spoke,
"That question that you seek is your to find and to hold. While birds fly in flock, this time you must fly alone."
He jumped down to land by them and bowed his head turning to leave, and walked slowly away. He did not know why the whelp's question had such an affect on him but it did. Well he could not stay here as it was seeing as no wolf here had anything wrong as he could tell, but this time he was headed into the packs terra, he knew those two where no lone varg and it was his honor to see if any in that pack wher suffering and if they where he needed to seek them out. THere was also something else that called to him from that direction though he did not know what it was until he saw it. In front of him was a large wall of roses, countless roses and it streached as long as he could see. There was no way around it, and no way over it that he could see so he opened his mind and with it let himself fade so that none could see him. He then looked up at the roses and listened to them, for they where alive, but they had some other force behind them and he was curious as to who, or what had made them. He heard lots of things from them, mostly wolven song that they carried with them, but nothing about the roses themselves. He dared not try to walk past them, for he lacked the knowledge that would let him know if he could pass through unharmed So he sat and stared at the flowers, still unseen by the world.

"Hey, wait! Where are you going?!" Kimika yelled as Redemption began to walk away. She started to run, trying to catch up to him.
For a few moments, Akina stood at the base of the tree. There WAS something different about him, of that she was sure. The whelp shook her head, breaking out of her reverie, and sprinted after Kimika and Redemption.
Kimika skidded to a stop in front of the Rose Wall. "I knew he came this way... he couldn't have gone through, he's not one of us...." she said, confused. "Akina!" she called, turning back. "We'd best go find Reiyn."
Akina nodded as she joined Kimika in front of the roses. Side by side, the two passed through the flowers and into the packlands, unaware that Redemption was few mere feet away.

"We'd best go find Reiyn." Akina nodded as she joined Kimika in front of the roses. Side by side, the two passed through the flowers and into the packlands, unaware that Redemption was few mere feet away.
Redemption watched as the two wolves followed him and then was suprized when the roses simply parted for them. He neared the roses but nothing happened, even when he appeared again and wolked towards them nothing happened. He tilted his head to one side, what was it about these plants that they would let some pass and others not? Then he remembered a name, Reiyn, was it some password maybe? So he stepped up towards the plants and looked at them squarely, "Reiyn."
But nothing happened, the roses didn't even stirr and he looked at them curiously. Once more he dipped into his ghostly form and tried to bespeak the roses themselves.
"Standing guard is your duty, from fast night and cold winter, but i ask for anwsers I do not know. Pray, bespeak me!" He closed his eyes then and listened as the wind blew the flowers, and though no sound was given off he nodded in understanding.
"To pass through one must be whole, and I am out in shadows," he said as he appeared to the world again and looked at the wall. He needed to pass it, but he didn't want to join the pack. He could try to force his way through, but that would do him no good, and it would make the others in there think that he had ill wishes. Even if he wanted to get in he was not going to join a pack to do so so he approched the flowers and talked to them.
"Knowing what i know is not enough, but this one is not a whole, it is only a shadow. No ill will, or any harm to come to those who need to ask for help," Redemption called out though the flowers still did not move, well, there was only one other way for him to try and he would have to wait for awhile till he could think of no other way to pass. Looking around he found nothing to lay in or under so instead returned, again, to his ghostly form to lay a little ways from the place where the two had entered.

Reiyn, having heard Kimika's news from a spirit of hers who had been patrolling nearby, had raced to the Rose Wall. "He's still there... but in a different form." the drappa said, gazing out. "You may go, if you like."
Kimika dipped her head and asked, "Should I take Akina back, too?"
Reiyn tilted her head, looking at the whelp. "No... let her stay..." she said, eyes shifting to search past the wall. Kimika dipped her maw once more and sped off to finish her patrol route.
Reiyn had lept upon the wall itself and motioned for Akina to join her. Together they sat, watching, waiting. Through her spirit element, Reiyn could see Redemption, spirit form though he was in. "Is there any particular reason that you are so intent on passing into my packlands?" she asked, eyes on him.

Redemption looked up at the she-wolf and, knowing now tha she was the Alpha, bowed his head respectfully to her. He knew it rude to enter another terra without asking but there was something in there that tugged at him, a heart and soul in need if he could guess. He knew as well though that with out the alpha's permission he stodd no chance of ever gettin gin there to see if what he felt was true.
It wasn't only that one but her as well that called to him knowing that she had a troubled life, but also knowing that she seemed to have put it behind her... aw well he could ask her about that later for now he should stay with the topic at hand.
::If I may bespeak you m'lady? I ask for entrance because some one in there is calling to me, and i am afriad i can not ingore them. It is as wih your past, though you seemed to have pushed yours aside, this one still seemed hurt and frustrated.::
Aloud he spoke much the same reason as he had to just her for the benfit of the young one that stood next to her, the only reason he had called to Reiyn in his mind was because none could lie and no get caught when speaking like that, and he hoped that she knew this as well.

Reiyn's eyes narrowed slightly and she lept off of the wall. Twice she circled the varg. "I see... you are one of them. You'd have to be, to know about my past."
Akina sat 'pon the wall still, eyes watching the drappa and the kerl carefully. "Reiyn... I don't think he's evil... no, not at all." the whelp said.
Reiyn nodded, having listened to Akina. "Very well... you may enter these packlands... but unless you choose to join this pack, you must have an escort. These are not safe times; I can't be too careful. I would do it myself, seeing as I can see you in this form, but I have other things to attend to." Head tilted thoughtfully to the side. "Ah... yes. Kimika can take that job. Akina will accompany her. I will provide a cavern for you to stay in while you are here... is there anything else you need?"

Redemption shook his head no, finding that her past was not as buried as he thought it would be. Hecame back into sight for all and looked once more at Akina bowing his head to her. It would be difficult to go anywhere or do anything for that matter while he was being followed around like a captive, but if it was what he could get he would take it. Not only that he added a note to talk to Reiyn again, carefully though for she seemed to be tense around him.
No matter he would still do what he could, and when the time came, he would leave and look, once again for others that need saving.
