A small black femme lay in the forest. She had a scar over one eye, which was a pale blue. The femme seemed uneasy in the forest. She kept turning her head to observe the landscape. Her name was Kai. Kai stood up and walked slowly around. She did not like this place much. To her, it seemed cold, dark, and foreboding.

Tsu walked through the forest, mitts making no sound on the path. Though night, the forest was well lit, at least, it was for members of the Blood Rose pack. Sensing another lera near by, probably a sikla, she muttered, "Now how did a sikla get into the Blood Rose forests..." Shaking her head, Tsu spread her wings and flew into the air. Orbs searched, seeing well in the night. Spotting the fae in a grassy part of the forest, she had to stifle a laugh. How uncomfortable those grasses must be to an outsider! She herself remembered coming to these lands with Reiyn for the first time, flying most of the way because of the sharp grasses and diamond-sharp thorns. The beta fae decided to have a word with the intruder. Swooping down, she hovered gracefully before the varg, waiting for her to speak.

Kai turned, saw Tsu, and jumped. "Wh.. WHO ARE YOU?  " She shouted, frighntend and intimidated by this..... cat? |

Tsu continued to watch Kai, orbs still and unblinking. Was this fae, this varg, scared of a CAT? Demon cat though she may be, Tsu was still a cat. After staring at the strange fae for a while, she finally emitted, "Tsubasa. I am Tsu of the Demon Winds. What business do you have on the Blood Rose Terrain?" Orbs narrowed and wings lowered her gently to eye level with the fae. "Speak, varg. Reiyn is waiting for an answer."

Kai blinked. "I'm on a pack's lands?" She asked. Without waiting for an answer, she said, "Oh. Terribly sorry about that. I should leave now."

Tsu sighed. "Another one who knows absolutely nothing..." she thought. Complacently, she landed, wings retracting and placing themselves 'pon her back. Mitts padded across the ground as she circled the fae once. Upon reaching her starting point again, Tsu emitted, "It it not required that you leave, Sikla. You are free to stay on the Sikla Lands as long as you choose to. However, they are behind you. You have somehow passed onto Blood Rose lands. No matter, but so long as you stay a Sikla you must stay on the aforesaid lands." Tilting her cranium, orbs narrowed slightly, she continued, "But... you may not leave yet. You have yet to answer my question; how is it that you came to be on Blood Rose territory?" Suddently remembering something, Tsu raised a mitt, signaling the fae not to answer yet. "Before you answer me that, tell me, Sikla, what name have you?"

"I'm... Kai." Kai said. She was still trying to figure out why a cat was on a wolf's pack territory. And why was she telling her what to do? Kai decided that it would be best to respect the cat.

Sensing the fae's thoughts, Tsu smirked. "Yes... you want to know what a feline is doing on a varg's terrain, do you not?" she emitted. Circling the fae again, trying to decide if she was the one. "Well, answer my other question and I shall tell you. How is it that you came to be on these lands?"

"Um... I walked?" Kai seemed confused. How else could she have come here? It's not like she could fly or anything.....

Tsu let out a growl of annoyance. "Well THAT's obvious. But WHY are you here? Where did you come from? I am not in a patient mood, Kai."

"Just passing, ey? Very well. Sorry to have snapped... we've been having trouble with the Kin Taiyou again. They're the nearest pack to us... got to be careful, y'know." Tsu stated, orbs losing their cold stare, a slight smile appearing on her face. "There's nothing to eat in the Sikla lands this time of year... if you want, you can come with me to the pack den, no one will mind. We've stored food there. You can stay as long as you like, just have to make yourself known to Reiyn. She's the Drappa." After this was emitted, Tsu tilted her head to one side. "You haven't eaten in a while, have you."

"Well, uh, no, really." Kai admitted. There really wasn't much to eat anywhere around this time of year. "I'll come, thanks"

Tsu nodded and spread her wings. "I'll be right back, I just want to check positioning." That said, Tsu took to the air, hovering just above the trees. "Ah. I see." she emitted, returning to the earth, wings retracting once more. "The caverns are just north of here. Come; it's this way." Words completed, the feline began to walk. Clouds above covered the night sky. Snow started to fall.

Kai shivered with the cold and followed Tsu. Where was she leading her? It was hard for Kai to trust anyone.
