This land, now called the Blood Rose Terrain, was hidden deep, deep within the forests. Before they were taken away, this was just the Kita and Kokoro lands of the Blood Rose terrain. Now, it was all that was left. Before they were taken to the so-called 'laboratory', Rein, her mother (Mira), her half-sister (Ket) and her half-brothers (Kaji and Yuki) had lived on this terrain, as well as the much larger spread where the humans lived. Their pack was large in numbers and Mira was Alphess. That is, she was alphess until the scientists came. Mira, knowing ahead of time that the humans were coming, scattered her pack, sending them over the mountains. She and her family alone would stay. Mira had promised herself that she would never let her pack be taken by the humans that had taken her mate. Instead, she and her children were taken. Now, that area is inhabitated by humans. They are the ones who dare not to enter the forest. The Blood Rose Terrain is hidden deep within the forest, all though the entire forest belongs to them. They reside mainly in the heart of the forest and travel along paths visible only to those in the pack. On three sides, mountains surround the forest edge. On the southern side, a few miles of fields stand between the humans and the wolves.
