Fishing On Half Frozen Water

[Reiyn]

Tsu leapt down from the ledge as Alvare began her introduction. Twice she circled the f'mmora. She then proceeded to nod to Reiyn. "She is not one of them. I sense no evil about her. Nor is there any about her hawk friend."

Reiyn smiled. She turned as she saw Kimika come in, followed closely by Akina and Raidon. The three introduced themselves to Alvare, then lay down 'pon one of the other ledges.

Reiyn pointed to yet another ledge. "The femme over there, that's Rosa. The pup with her is Cain." Pointing to a different spot now, she continued, "That's Horizon. And over there's Echo, Whisper, Faya, and Silmae. The f'mmora sitting next to me is Kai, my Gamma fae. Last but not least, the femme you see just coming in, that's Arliss."

"An' I'm Tsu, the Beta fae." Tsu added, sitting by Alvare. "So far, this is our entire pack! Fun, ey?"

[alvare]

Alvare smiled, relived that she had passed what seemed to be a test. She was nervous about all of the animals there, but she knew, with time, that she would get used to so many people.

"Oh, before I forget Reiyn, do you have any hurt of sick here?"

[Reiyn]

Reiyn tilted her head. "Are you a healer?" she asked, slightly suprised.

[[GAH, THE SHORTNESS OF DEATH...]]

[alvare]

Alvare nodded her head,

"I am, to an extent. I can do much with plants, as well as with my own powers, but I am still limited, as I have been training myself."

Alvare felt pride go though her, her gifts where self tought, and while she could do more for the mind then she could the body, she felt that she had taught herslf well. She was proud for the fact as well that she was just dependent on her magic, but that she could also do other things with plants and roots. Though her mother had taught her much of this, she had improved her knowledge since she left her side.

Alvare grinned and shook her head watching as her friend soared away then turned her attention back to the gathering of varg.

[Reiyn]

Reiyn smiled happily. "We have much need of a healer in this pack. Would you consider becoming one of the pack's healers? I mean, I would have to see some of what you can do first, but still."

((SLOW COMPUTER SLOW COMPUTER SLOW COMPUTER))

[alvare]

Alvare smiled, "yes that would be fine, though if no one is hurt it will be hard to show you want I can do."

Alvare thought on this for awhile then nodded to Reiyn, "If I might be able to go and catch a rabbit then bring it back to show you, I would be able to heal that. Otherwise I am not so sure how I will show you."

((It's ok mine is too...... stupid slow computers*grumbles*))

[Reiyn]

Reiyn thought for a moment. "Kimika," she called. "Didn't you tell me that you did something to your left fore-mitt yesterday?"

Nodding, Kimika stepped foward. Her paw was held aloft, not touching the ground for the slightest instant. "It's in the ankle. I can tell that for sure." she emitted, smiling wryly. "I slipped on something while searching the lake-area."

Alvare nodded then made her way over to Kimika. SHe looked at the paw and, as she did, her eyes became solid color. Blinking her eyes a few times she looked up and Kimika and smiled,

"Your right on sayiing that it was your ankle. You tore some of your mussles, that's why it hurts, even when it isn't touching the ground. If you stay still for a moment though I can get it healed up for you."

Alvare closed her eyes for a moment then opened them, her eyes as blank as they where before. A white mist surrounded the paw and slowly laced around Kimika's body, clinging in some places and passing over others.
You need to attach to here, and heal. Relax, there is no pain, there is no hurt. You are whole, and you need to be here. I don't see any infections so i won't have to burn any out of her system. It's not just her paw either.... relax this mussle here, let that bruse heal there, and relax these mussles so that they don't take more strain. I think that does it, I don't see anything else, no sore mussles, no infections... nothing. *sigh* good

Alvare shook her head, pulling herself out of her trance, the white mist disappearing as well.
"There that should be better now. Try it out for yourself, though you will still need to take it easy for the next few hours. After that you should be fine."

[Reiyn]

Kimika nodded, standing completely still as the pale mist surrounded her. Once it left, she placed her mitt onto the ground. She felt no pain. "Hey, thanks! You're pretty good; that normally would've taken a few weeks to heal!" she said, smiling at Alvare.

Reiyn nodded. "A few weeks is right... and we can't have our lead Kappa off her feet for that long, ey?"

Kimika laughed as Akina and Raidon skidded to a stop next to her.

"Mika! Can you play with us now, is your leg better?" the twins cried. They raced around her in circled, waiting for an answer.

Kimika nodded, still laughing. "Yeah, I can. But it's getting late. Time for you all to rest."

Reiyn turned back to Alvare. "I think you'd make a great healer. So... want the position?"

[alvare]

Alvare smiled and nodded,
"That would be fine. I need to know if it is alright for me to check plants around here, to see if there are any I know and can use to heal the small things."

Alvare felt accepted here, for some odd reason, she knew that these Varg did not shun her for being part fox, and that made her heart sore into the skies.

[Reiyn]

Reiyn smiled. "Of course. Tsu, perhaps you could show Alvare the fields? I think that there would be some herbs and plants growing there, ne?"

Tsu nodded. "Sure." she said, smiling as well. The f'mmora padded to the cave entrance and turned to look at Alvare. "Come on, they're this way." she emitted before smiling again and padding out of the cavern.

Alvare started to follow then turned to Reiyn and bowed before turning back to follow Tsu.

Tsu led Alvare along the main path, stopping every now and then to make sure Alvare was still with her. "We're almost there," she said, motioning to the statue of a pup on it's hind legs, leaping after a butterfly. "That statue marks the entrance." As they reached it, Tsu placed her paw on the statue. It split in two, opening to reveal the entrance to the fields. She walked through, ignoring the thorns and the roses within. "Remember," she called back to Alvare, "The thorns won't hurt you, so long as you are loyal to the pack."

Alvare looked at the statue in awe, never had she seen a statue like that. When it split open she was even more suprized. Alvare nodded though she was still unsure about the roses though she wondered what they might do.

"I remember," she called as she looked around at the roses.

[Reiyn]

Sensing the unspoken question, Tsu called to Alvare once more. "The thorns, they are defenses. They block all entrances to caverns or places, with the hidden caverns being the only exceptions. They have odd powers, sensing whether the varg that passes near them is loyal to the pack or not. Those who aren't, when near the roses, recieve an extremely harmful poison, not deadly if it is treated. Still, I can sense your loyalty. You have naught to worry for."
